Nokia IP530 RAM Upgrades

World RAM shortages of the specific EEC SDRAM modules used by the Nokia IP530 have left users faced with hefty bills for premature hardware replacement of the Nokia IP530, an otherwise perfectly capable appliance for SME applications.

ASC are pleased to announce fully compatible and thoroughly tested RAM upgrade kits enabling existing users to take their machines to a full 1Gb of RAM. This is ample for current incarnations of the IPSO and Check Point VPN-1/UTM-1 software (R60, R62 and even R65) releases and enables owners to fully deploy SmartDefense and Content Inspection capabilities on their appliances.

The upgrade kit consists of a new set of four 256Mb EEC SDRAM modules and a new RTC/CMOS battery (just in case). The kit is available with or without a Nokia certified site engineer to install it.
