Check Point R65 Upgrades
NGX R65 brings performance improvements, even on older hardware, by improving the way in which traffic flowing through the firewall is processed. There are significant differences in the way in which application layer processing (protocol inspection) is handled, allowing more granular policies for SmartDefense and the other UTM components to be applied to individual gateways, rather than across entire enterprises. There are also new features including anti-virus scanning available as additional subscription options if you require them.
ASC are offering fixed price consultancy packages to upgrade your current installation to this release of Check Point NGX R65. The price we quote is based on the components needing to be upgraded, but includes a site visit from a certified Check Point consultant who will ensure a smooth transition to the new version of software. Upgrades will be performed on each component of the Check Point infrastructure as required and then system testing will be undertaken with your own staff to ensure and demonstrate that the upgrade has been successful. The price includes all out of pocket expenses and any out of hours time that we (or you) anticipate may be required.
You may even wish to take advantage of the consultant and add a firewall rulebase review to the visit too!
